Modern Husbands is an educational blog for couples and families in the United States. This page explains, in plain language, how we research, write, and correct what we publish.
How We Research
We start with official sources whenever a topic involves rules, programs, or consumer rights. Those sources include IRS.gov for tax information, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau at consumerfinance.gov, SSA.gov for Social Security, USA.gov for government services, FDIC.gov for banking information, and Investor.gov for investing basics.
How We Write
We write in plain English, explain terms the first time we use them, and focus on steps a household can actually take. We do not invent statistics, and we avoid publishing figures that change often, such as rates, limits, and deadlines, unless we can point readers to the official source that keeps them current.
Corrections
If we learn that something we published is wrong or out of date, we update the page, note meaningful changes, and fix the error as clearly as we can. Readers are welcome to contact us through our Contact page if they spot a possible mistake.
Education Only
Everything here is general education, not personal advice for your situation. Laws, programs, and products change, so please check official sources and consider speaking with a licensed professional before making a major money decision.
